I love a good meditation retreat. There’s something about meditating en-masse for a few days that’s hugely empowering and I always seem to come back calmer and with more clarity. That’s not to say it’s all a bed of roses; nearly every retreat I’ve been on has had moments when I didn’t think I’d finish it, and every one has me wondering what on earth I’m doing this for at one point or another. But at the end of the retreat, I feel more peaceful, calmer and more balanced.
